WaterWare offers a wide range of user and application support options.
User support tools and mechanisms include
an initial, classroom-type trainin course (tarting with a one week initial, classroom-type training course that provides a short introduction and overview to introdyuce WAsupported by an on-line "GUIDED TOUR" set of web pages..... ,supported by an on-line "GUIDED TOUR" set of web pages on concepts, language, functionality, interface specifics, and in particular, ithe embedded communication and user support tools:
- basic e-mail to the support team )mailing list),
- The embedded hypertext manual pages, linked from every screen, with an optional local on-demand PDF exporti/printing function;
- A a web-based, logged, database supported comment, question, and error reporting dialog, associated with the help pages, but also for more generic issues, at the systems level. This is supported by a real-time task management system for pending taks ilog, afollow-up. and mail communication.
- A 7/24 help desk, accessible by email;
- An optional web discussion forum, including a Frequently asked questions section;
- A Model Terminology Glossary;
- A technical Documents library for background literature;
- An optional eLearning platform: CourseWare
- and of course introductory classroom training sessions, on site.
The basic and central training mechanism is "learning by doing", using any or all of the above communication channels.
